Dr. Kristi Fuller provides comprehensive assessment, consultation, and intervention services for children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental and/or acquired injury needs. Every evaluation is tailored to meet the needs of the individual child, and identify his/her strengths and weaknesses in order to more appropriately prescribe effective educational and therapeutic interventions.
Dr. Fuller is an experienced, licensed psychologist with additional training in developmental psychology, brain development, and medical complications which impact brain functioning. She conducts the evaluations in a way that provides the special attention that your child needs during the assessment process. The goal of the neuropsychological evaluation is to develop an appropriate treatment plan based on your child’s strengths and weaknesses. Such treatment plans may include educational accommodations or modifications, specific therapeutic services (i.e., counseling, speech/language therapy, occupational therapy), and/or medications.
Dr. Fuller grew up in Alaska and graduated from Chugiak High School. She retuned to Alaska with her husband and two young daughters in 1996. She initially worked for Providecence Health System and entered private practice in 2005.
Educational Background
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology that included a minor in Behavioral Neurology.
- Two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Psychology with an emphasis in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
- Licensed psychologist in the State of Alaska since 1996.
- Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology, by the American Board of Professional Psychology (2005)
